The University of Michigan has 52,540 employees and 64,582 students houses in 38.5 million square feet of space in 1,164 buildings. Previous efforts to lower its energy usage have failed. What is needed now to ensure that the critically needed carbon footprint reductions are achieved? How have other leading organizations across the sector led operations and cultural changes of the magnitude required to get to carbon neutrality? A panel of leaders from other large institutions will discuss the organizational changes that they have found to be effective.
