MEDIC Collaborative-Wide Meeting - Friday, March 5, 2021

The purpose of the MEDIC is to improve the overall quality of care for adult and pediatric emergency medicine patients through collaborative development of best practices for emergency departments in the state of Michigan.

MEDIC meetings involve the review of site-specific statewide CQI data and open discussions related to improving systems and methods of treatment. A culture of openness and trust is critical to the development of such a collaborative effort to improve quality, and a commitment for confidentiality is required to further the goals of the MEDIC CQI.
