You are invited to join the first informational webinar for “Exploring DEI in Business: A 2025 Global Case Writing Competition.” An overview of the competition will be followed by an exploration into the evolving landscape of DEI initiatives and how they are increasingly vital as part of our understanding of how we relate in an ever-changing global environment. The University of Michigan Ross School Director of Diversity and Inclusion will review the intersection of cultural competence/cultural humility as part of inclusion and equity work. He will also share some insights on best practices and strategies for integrating DEI principles into organizational praxis, and highlight some key progress related to the Michigan Ross School’s DEI strategic plan. Additionally, WDI Publishing’s manager will share case and teaching note writing tips including: unique characteristics of a case, breakdown of the key sections of a case and teaching note, how to use citations and endnote sources, and how to overcome common case writing challenges.
