Definitely not information that has been included in any of my PH education. I appreciate the expanded information; that is SO important to give the correct perspective. Thank you!
Katherine Hewitt
44:15
I'm with you Kelly! I actually learned more about the exclusive zoning, etc during a community board meeting, not in my MPH graduate work....
Martina-Krystelle Pineda
44:34
We can continue to thank Dr. Barnett through our work and activism and advocacy. It is on US, especially white people and non-Black people of color to educate ourselves and inform ourselves about things like this - we must fight for justice and equity and that must be reflected in our work and everyday practice and in ALL the spaces and communities we’re a part of!!
Dany Zemmel
45:26
You may disseminate the slides as you wish - thank you for helping to share this information with others!

Lack of accessibility to testing kits- people who were undocumented at some sites were not allowed to get testing due to a lack of ID. Our local county in Indiana finally decided to pass community ID Cards (not driver licenses) so people could get tested.

Agreed Niki! How to Be an Anti-Racist by Ibram X. Kendi is a great book to read and learn what it means to be antiracist, not just inclusive.
